How Surf Sessions are Instructed
As a P.E. teacher, I realized there was a need for surf instructors here on the Gulfside of Florida! There are a rad group of surfers at our local surf break here at the Venice Jetties, but few who can and will break down the FitSurf technique and progressional process of learning how to surf in our own little town of paradise!
Why Adventure through Surf Lessons
Being a surfer who had to solo adventure into the learning process of surfing, I would have greatly benefited from a handful of surf sessions given locally at the Jetties. Through my Surf Session instructions, you’ll learn to be fully equipped and confident to venture out in most any surf conditions, experiencing a joy and camaraderie on our waves of paradise in a way you haven’t experience before!
Where Surf Sessions take Place
As mentioned above, I’ll be instructing you through your Surf Sessions either at the North or South Jetty in the Venice/Nokomis area depending on the direction of the incoming surf swell. So get ready to soak up our beautiful paradise as you surf your rad rides!
What Surf Sessions Cost and Entails
I offer private (1 to 1) and semi-private (2 to 1) Surf Sessions that last an hour long. I provide soft top longboards and wetsuits during the winter season. And depending on each client’s learning curve, it can generally take a series of 6 to 8 Surf Sessions to progress my clients through the different surf technique and surf conditions in order to graduate them into a competent beginner Paradise Surfer!

When to Embark on Your Paradise Surf Adventure
As soon as you desire to experience a new joy with other rad surfers out on our waves of paradise, contact me! You can initiate this rad Paradise Surf adventure through the contact form link below, my email, or phone. Of course, because we can only surf when the surf’s up, I’ll keep you on my surf client call list for when we get good learning waves, and then we’ll schedule a Surf Session based off those available surf windows! So we’ll just have to be flexible pending the timing of the weather, which brings all our waves!
